Different quality of threading dies for pipe threader

By improving the craft of manufacturing dies, you can have better dies and higher quality thread. The life span of various material threading dies are different too.

1) The first one is the most frequently used cheap alloy dies, material is 9Cr2.

2) The second is forged alloy die made of material 9CrSi, it has better performance and good price.

3) The third one is regular high speed steel (HSS) dies, with this die you can have better finish on the threading teeth, in the meantime it also work for small quantity of stainless steel pipe threading.

4) HSS dies with milling teeth. After heat treatment there is one more process of teeth fine milling, the teeth shape is that front teeth are low while rear teeth are high which is contrary to the normal dies. What’s more, the milling HSS threading dies are interchangeable with RIDGID pipe threader.
