Due to the design of ecnomic type model STGS325C pipe roll grooving machine, the hydraulic pump head sometimes do not work well. If when you press the handle of pipe grooving machine, but the upper wheel do not go down as usual. Please try to clean the hydraulic pump or knock on the handle.
Loosen the nut and take off the release knob.
Swing the handle to let some oil come out from the roll groover head cylinder. So that the tiny scrap on the top of the oil cylinder may come out from the pump. In the meantime, the metal ball also come out from the cylinder.
No need to add hydraulic oil if only a few oil gone. If you need add oil, please add from this finger pointed place.
Install back the release valve knob. Before put the knob back please rotate the nut to this position as in picture.
After long time using, the oil inside cylinder becomes thick, which makes the steel ball can not fall down, we need manually knock it down. We need to press the handle and in the same time use a rubber hammer to knock the top of the handle sleeve.
